Who is Palmer Bet?

Palmerbet was launched in August 2013, by brothers Grant, Matthew and Adrian Palmer, and has then has continued growth at a rapid rate and at the EGR Australia Awards in Feb 2016, won the rising star award which shows that this is the next bookmaker to look out for.

Ted Palmer began trading as a Rails bookmaker in the 1970’s so the family has a wealth of experience in the industry and they operate out of an office at Canterbury Racecourse employing around a dozen staff.

Betting Product

The website itself is well designed and easy to navigate. The markets available might not be as many as the bigger bookmakers in Australia, for example you can expect markets to be offered on the major tournaments in Golf, Tennis and Cricket, but the smaller tour tournaments might not be available.

Palmerbet offers a number of competitive markets on all leading Australian sports including horse racing, harness racing, greyhound racing, AFL, NRL, Super Rugby as well as American sports and thousands of international markets on soccer, tennis and cricket.

The big selling point that Palmerbet has introduced is their “commitment to offering better odds and bigger limits”. They introduced their slogan of “Take us on” which indicates they are willing to back their industry knowledge and provide the best odds on the underdogs. This is a unique stance to take and so far, its certainly paying off the the Australian owned bookmaker.

Mobile/Tablet Product

It’s a relatively new app with the release only coming in mid 2015 but in the short time that its been live, its certainly a well thought out, well designed app for your normal punter, that makes it easy for you to locate your market, select your bet and put your stake on.

Live Sports Streaming

At present, you are unable to watch any sports live via the Palmerbet website.

Palmerbet offer a range of weekly promotions on Racing and sport markets and at the time of writing this review that had 12 different promotions being advertised on their website, which shows they are definitely putting the customer first in giving them incentives for betting with them.
