Betstar Bookmaker Review

Who is Betstar?

Betstar was founded in 2007 by father and son bookmakers Michael and Alan Eskander. In April 2014, they sold their business to Ladbrokes for between $20-25 million and it has recently received a huge makeover, with new products, even better customer service and more bonuses.

In addition to Betstar, Ladbrokes owns and operates the Australian licensed bookmakers and The three websites share the same odds and markets but vary in promotions. All three services are licensed and regulated by the Norfolk Island Gaming Authority.

Betstar has pretty much everything you would look for in a bookmaker and they offer a huge range of markets across nearly every sport going! Navigation bar across the top of the page makes it easy to filter for sports, horse racing or in-play betting and the list of different sports can be found in the left hand sidebar.

Mobile/Tablet Product

After being taken over by Ladbrokes, the overhaul began and once the website was re-designed to feature the functionality of Ladbrokes, they have now launched their mobile app which is a very impressive design with tons of contents and markets to bet on.

They also have live streaming action of all Victorian horse racing, which includes the Melbourne Cup, the Caulfield Cup and the Cox Plate.

Alongside their sign-up offer, Betstar regularly offer a host of Money Back Specials and Powerline promotions across a wide range of markets and they offer run promotions on a number of Horse Racing, Soccer, AFL, NRL, Cricket, Golf, Tennis, NFL and NBA events.

One of the new promotions that was released in March 2016 on Betstar is that you are now able to choose your own odds whereby you simply select the odds you want and Betstar return a winning margin for your selection. If your horse wins by more than that margin, then they pay you the dividend you chose! Its another exciting offer from a company that is trying to set themselves aside from the bookmakers.
